They make T shirts that anyone can buy and don't mean what they say for FBI, ATF, SWAT, Bikini Inspector, etc. Why not just get one that says CCW on it? Oh yeah, because anyone can get one and they don't necessarily mean what they say...like badges.

CCW Badge
This is the last thing I would ever put on as a CCW holder.
Also it may be taken by some police officers as impersonating a cop and you'll wind up be arrested.

Just thought of another idea while the CCW badge is a very not good idea. Imagine pulling your CCW badge after a self defense shooting. Now your in court being sued because the slime-bag you shot is now crippled for life. And the slime-ball attorney is attacking you on the stand for being the wanna-be-police. Would look very bad!

Why even worry about any legal implications brought on by "using" it in public? If you're that lame where you where a freakin' CCW badge, you have much larger problems...like getting laid, moving out of your parents' house, and the $10,000 in tacti-kewl gear you just bought from eBay.

My brother isnt LAME ass weed. He asked because the firggin PoPo came onto public radio and said they would shoot, on sight, anyone they found with a weapon on scene. He is probably twice your age or more, has been on his own for more than 20 years, doesnt own one piece of tactical gear and doesnt even go to the mall. My brother was concerned and, actually scared to the point, where he wondered if some form of identification of a "good guy" might do him some good. He doesnt know what a Mall Ninja even is until I explained it to him. I pretty much think everyone here knows not to bother with a stupid CCW badge. |

I think we're assuming different types of scenarios maybe. Either way, I'm not an advocate of open carry (don't misconstrue this as saying open carry should not be legal. Everyone should have the right to open carry if they choose to in my eyes.), nor am I an advocate of CWL badges. And while I'm at it, I'm not an advocate of the wearing of any badge on the outside of clothing unless on-duty. So there you have it: my opinion. It's worth exactly what you paid for it. |

Hell no he doesnt wear one. He sent me an email asking what they were for because of what the local police said on public radio about shooting any armed citizen on site at any shooting scene they were called too. Those police statements scared him to the point where he now questions using his gun even if he needed it and just wondered what the badges were for. I set him straight and told him that if he were ever in a SD situation, just remain calm, put his weapon back in his holster and wait for the police and then remain quiet and do as they say. |
