I carry Pelican's new 7060 LED light and it is excellent! It's a little bit bigger than a Surefire G2 or Fenix light, but the light is worth it. It comes with a nice little loop holder that works great on my duty belt.

agreed the scorpion i got is really mediocre, but the tlr-1 i have on my XD45 is just awesome....so not all streamlight stuff is that bad.

for duty carry....i can't say....not a cop......but i bought an "energizer x-treme" 3watt LED light (it is miss-tagged, got it for about $12...SCORE!) and it is really far better than i expected it to be for the money. And one bonus, it runs on 2 AA batteries, rather than CR123's or another odd, and expensive battery

I carried a Streamlight Stinger HPXT on my belt when I worked graveyards. I liked it because it is just big enough to use as an effective impact weapon in an emergency, but still small enough to be comfortable on the duty belt.
