Cop dragged by Mustang during MVS, 5 shots fired
Here is the whole story, happened in a couple towns over from me. I will be interested to hear what exactly happened. As expected, a majority of the comments at the end of the article are all about police brutality and how it was murder? I understand why people are so passionate when a young person is killed, but no cop wants the burden of a shooting on their conscience if it justfied....even then....

The comments there sicken me. Ignorance abounds.
"Why didn't the cop shoot the tires?" "How can a cop be dragged by a vehicle?" "If he was being dragged, how could he shoot?" Etc. It'll be interesting to see the video if there is one. Edit: Here's another quotation: "Listen im not sayin that it is 100% the cops fault...BUT i do no that as a cop your are trained no not pull your gun out unless the person is comeing at your and your life is in danger. Now you tell me all the possible ways this cop could have been dragged...was he holdin on or stuck or wat? u cant tell me u have time to pull a gun out n shoot but not get free from the car....think about it" I realize that this happened in New Jersey, but their training can't be that different, eh?

I love all the people that try and comment "intelligently" about current events that can't even construct a coherent sentence using proper grammar and spelling. Any response that looks like the one you quoted does not hold ANY water in my opinion. I weep for the future.

I remember watching a video back in the academy where an officer was dragged by a car. The suspect rolled up a window, and the cop was caught in it due to his wedding ring getting jammed. He was dragged at 70MPH by his finger. While he was being dragged, he fired shots into the car, and miraculously hit a couple suspects right in their heads. They wrecked out, and he's now scarred for life all over his body except for the areas of his body that were protected by his vest.
The media railroaded him, and they said he assassinated the suspects.

So this young man, was a model citizen except for the few traffic violations and not really liking the law..hmmm yes I see how the LEO was at fault here..right
so he came back to town to see his brother graduate, and he was out and about collecting donations for the local church at 2 am, in a mustang....hmmm tricky very tricky, I am sure the LEO had a few beers during his shift to keep awake, and pull this guy over to hassle him and get some money out of him, then this model citizen, had a vehicle malfunction that cause the dragging of the drunken LEO whom should not have fired his weapon at all, he should have talked to him and understand him, after all the police should never fire a gun at a perp unless, the LEO had been hit multiple times and got clearance from HQ to escalate the situation to lethal force. Are this people in the same planet that I am in, or planet stupid has sent us their best, I know I am preaching to the congregation here but *&%&%$%(%&%&, you drag a LEO and expect what, the LEO will call you silly names and let you got, I commend this officer for firing only 5 shots, he realize the treat was over so he stop firing, THAT is control. I really feel for the lost of a life, but I blame the parents for not teaching their kids respect for the police. Lets go back in time, kid gets pull over, for traffic violation, he turns off car roll window down and talks to police, he is not drunk and is celebrating his brother graduation, LEO understand, and tells him to slow down dont act like a fool and go home, kid say thanks officer, and we are not reading this. scene 2, we are reading this. My children WILL respect the LEOs, I'll make sure of it. I hope the LEO does not get to much #%% out of this one, and thank God he made it out ok. Jose |
