I work in health care and know most hospitals have a policy for this. (i.e. someone found down and brought in, or a case like yours)

I'd call the hospital and ask for security first (that way they don't know who you are -what ever you decide)

They do in fact have a proper 30.06 sign adambrock.

There was a security Desk maned by HPD there
They secured my weapon and I went on and did my business and came back and they gave it back to me.

no harm no foul.

Thanks guys.

See, now isn't this better then sneaking it in and potentially losing your right to carry, or possibly your right to even own a firearm?

Not sure why anyone even mentioned doing that...if you're going to do something illegal you might as well just leave it in your car, not on your person.

Yeah, unless he needed it and didn't have it.

I wish places around here did that "service" for lawful carry of firearms. I'm always told to just leave it in my car.

TOJAZ is correct. I went to casino and weapons are not allowed. But I was on my motorcycle. I informed the door lady and she directed me to the hotel lobby. They locked it up in a Safety Deposit box free of chrage...
