Okay so here is something maybe you guys can help me with... what is the longest plastic flashlight on the market? Right now I think it looks like a Streamlight SL-20XP LED at a measly 13.2in...
We have a couple of these at work. They are probly one of the brightest plastic/polymer light out there. I still prefer the good old MagCharger or SL-20X in metal since I just like the weight of the light. I do use the SL-20XP (LED) every now and then and it is just as bright as the others. It is nice to also have the availability of 3 different light modes being: LED, Halogen, or Both.

I would recommend it for you because of your policy. Good, light but I still prefer the good old metal ones. They work wonders for breaking out car windows and are excellent leverage devices when you know how to use them to gain compliance. .

Best of luck,
-Brian

Thanks for the response. Perhaps this will be a moot issue for us because we are supposedly getting ASP batons. But that rumor has been around for a while.

In the ghetto housing projects, people just don't give a damn. We had a fool running around with an AK popping off rounds one night so we were on foot in the area. We had our ONE M4 out and shotguns. ****ing ghetto people were running up to us so they could look at our guns. "Oooh! Whatdatbee!?"
