Northern Minnesota?
Is anybody here a police officer in northern Minnesota?
I am considering applying for a position with some police departments near Grand Rapids, but anywhere ranging from St. Cloud to Duluth. If anybody is an officer in these areas, can you tell me what it's like? I plan on retiring there some day, but an opportunity recently opened up that I don't really want to pass up if I can avoid it. My current plans are to become a police officer out here in southern California, because I want to see some action. However, if the job in MN is any good, maybe I'll try to head out that way sooner, rather than later.

Thank you sirs. I contacted a few PDs today, and all of them suggested attending colleges in their areas, so it seems that that's what I may have to do.
