I'd suggest going to mappassessment.com and taking their career compatablity test to see where your personality fits with a variety of different careers. They offer a number of "packages" you can purchase, but the free test is a great tool and a good place to start. You might be surprised by what other careers you match up with. Don't try to "force" something that you think you'd like to do, only to find out later that it's not what really makes you want to get out of bed in the morning and go to work! I just got out of a very successful 12 year career, stable and making great money, because I finally realized that being miserable at work translates to being miserable at home, and no amount of money is worth that. Luckily I'm young enough ( I like to think) that I can make the changes I need to, and I have a great wife to back me up! I think the most important advice I can give you as a young man, just starting out, is to take a deep breath and don't rush into anything. Put your wife/family first in all your decisions, find a career that you "fit" in, and live happy! Just my .02 worth- Mike
