What a long week.

Well I just finished my 60 hours Firearms Instructors School. Rain sideways on two of the days at the range. Shot the 870 in the prone in a down pour. All and all it was a great school.

Can't wait to get my range keys from work.

Congrats on the certification. I remember my first day of M4 at the academy, 2 inches of standing water on the 50 yard line...somehow though, it didn't seem to bother me laying prone in it...shooting anything full-auto after 13 weeks of nothing but pistol made it a "sunny" day.

Just getting to flip past the semi spot on the reciever makes everything perfect.

I was going to say...You are lucky enough to get sent to Instructor School and you were going to complain? Congrats and maybe I will be joining the ranks someday.

Just like the old motto for training in the snow here in Wisconsin (and there was no shortage of it this winter) :

"We train in the snow, so when S*** happens we are ready to go"

lol
