The bikes are just like guns it comes down to the monkey behind the controls. Sportbikes are no more dangerous than any other bike it all depends on who you have perched on top.
Quite a misinterpretation there, we're on the same page, just stating a preference.

I can't say "organ donor", but I can say.....

What a freakin stupid @$$ piece of #$*! mother #!*@(# idiot, who is more concerned with posting stupid @*!# on YouTube than he is about his safety or he safety of those around him. Mother #*!*$ loser. Idiots like this have no place on the road. I will feel no sympathy when he munches the rear end of a car and kills himself like the moron in my city who slammed into the back of an Expedition, killing himself and putting his wife in the hospital in critical condition, all because he got a new $&@(! crotch rocket and had to show everyone that he's the $&*!ing man.

/end rant.

In case you couldn't tell, watching that video made me a little upset.

But now I feel better.

And a rider with any sort of skill would be better off on a sport bike in my mind: all around faster, and better response to rider input.

This guy is pretty crazy. On a track, I'd have no problem w/ it but the unpredictability of traffic makes this a death wish. With the mere sound of a tached out 600 for that lenghty of a time I can feel adrenaline dumping into my body and going into "hyper-alert mode". Insane. I'm familiar w/ the Ghost Rider, I saw a DVD a friend of mine had quite some time ago. I've also seen similar videos with some guy in an Acura NSX in Holland or something.

Skilled rider, dumbass.

There's alot of anti-sport bike attitude in the LEO community, and I understand that. Most of the bikes I stop are sport bikes. They're appealing to young, immature males.

I love sport bikes but realized all my riding is on the street and don't like the ergonomics. So I got a sport bike with a comfortable riding position, Triumph Speed Triple 1050. Stops, goes and turns like a sport bike but I can take a 3 hr trip without stopping to unfold and stretch.

Same here. I'm sure (jeepin)banditrider can agree.. the Suzuki Bandit is a comfy moto to ride. (I own two currently.)

This is why people have no respect for motorcycle riders.
He is tempting fate in a BIG way and may want to consider buying lotto tickets.

I hope 3 things:
1. He signed his organ donor card.
2. They find enough to harvest.
3. He does not take someone else with him.
