Most cops are great. I have no issues with the cops in general, I admire the work they do. Particularly the cops in rough neighborhoods etc. They need to get paid more for the risks they take in my opinion. A cop was fatally shot here just a month ago. These dirt bags now-a-days actually shoot at the cops instead of running from them.

Every once in a while though, you get one(LEO) who has a chip on his shoulder.

What I meant in my original post is essentially, "respect breeds respect".

So, In the above situation (re:"why do you carry 2 pistols, or, do you carry large sums of cash?), what if he said, "Why do you ask?" And, what if he said, "Do you carry more than one means of 'self defense'?" Are you, as a uniformed law officer, going to take that with an attitude or just a casual conversational question? I'm sure that it might have to do with the tone and facial expression in which the questions were posed. Not all questions need to answered and a fair question, properly presented, can be educational to both.

Its just me, Something I need to work on. Letting people get under my skin that is. You're right though, its best just to shrug it off and be cool as a fan. I'm much better now as opposed to my younger days.

What makes it so funny is its basically true.

I never let people I don't know all that well ride with me. Its just my luck I get pulled over, and the person I'm with has a bag of dope, a revolver, and a warrant in the next county.
