need duty holster
I am new to L.E. and am wanting to carry my xd tactical in 45. I am wondering if there is a level II or III holster out there that will fit it. Any help would be wonderful.
Thanks Cole

Easy answer. Stick with Safariland, go to their website, go to the "will fit" chart and go from there. I highly recommend the 6360 ALS.
Edit: Check out Copquest, they have the holsters listed, but be aware there is about a 30 day wait. My holster for the Tactical/light is still about 2 weeks away from coming in. Last edited by Dogcop : 03-27-2008 at 09:46 AM. |

Safariland DOES have the holsters listed in the Will Fit section. These listings are brand new.

Call Skaggs in Salt Lake City. They might let you order over the phone. I was just up there the other day, and they have a few dozen Safarilands in stock for various XD configurations. (801) 261-4400.

I prefer Blade-Tech. I don't like having to care for my leather gear all the time, so I wear nylon/kydex for regular duty.

Carry Holster
I use a Blackhawk, Very nice carry.
With it your weapon, will not get jerked, nor fallout if you have to chase or fight. |

Safariland fan..
I want to say mine is the 6180 model (number may be messed up), but anyways, it was on the list of holsters we could have, and due to wearing BW, it is a bit of a challenge to find one that will fit an XD. Safariland has them, and mine is a level II, with a switch hood, very easy fast draw, with no fall out. Not to mention, you can adjust the tension level on the trigger guard bar.
