Ive done a couple 32 hours tours, just cause of an arrest, processing, prisoner went sick, da's office the next day etc.
I can say ive done those a couple times, and by the end of the time, im a mess. The OT is a nice chunk though!

Oh, I wasn't complaining about the hours. The food was great, the chopper ride was fun (tho loud), there was really no work to do; most of the time it was boring (guarding pallets of bottled water) and the OT was fantastic.

I actually walked up hill both ways in the heat when I was in elementary school and you are correct; you are a smart

ass.

I work 10p-6a and signed up for a 2p-10p OT shift last week. The morning before that shift I could not fall asleep so I basically stayed up and went back to work a double. You get a second wind after about the 25th hour.

For some reason I always get arrests and report calls whenever I work OT.
