Bragging.
I shot a few qualifications for the hell of it today. This was the last one I shot of the day. It was a perfect score. I have done it before but not with so many rounds through the same area of the target.
![]() ![]() ![]() Of course this target was not shooting back. All shot with my Wilson. ![]() Its a nice shooting pistol. I designed our qualification off of the Alaska State Trooper course. It goes as follows. Stage 1. 2 yards (6 rounds total) from low ready (out of the holster) Fire 2 rounds center mass and one shot to the head in 3 seconds. Repeat once. Stage 2. 7 yards. (everything else in the course is from the holster) (6 rounds total) Draw and fire 2 rounds center mass and one shot to the head in 5 seconds repeat once. (mark head shots) Stage 3. 25 yards. (6 rounds total) Draw and fire 6 rounds center mass in 20 seconds. Stage 4. 10 yards. (12 rounds total) Draw and fire 6 rounds weapon hand only speed load (with two hands) then fire 6 rounds support hand only in 35 seconds. Stage 5. 7 yards. (6 rounds total) Draw and fire 2 rounds center mass in 3 seconds repeat twice. Stage 6. 5 yards (10 rounds total) (have the instructor or another student load the shooters magazine or cylinder with between 0 and 3 rounds) ( I mixed up several partially loaded mags in my pocket and just grabbed one so I did not see how many rounds were in the magazine) Draw and fire 5 rounds to center mass in 10 seconds. The shooters weapon will run dry and he/she will have to preform a run dry reload and finish the drill. Repeat once. Stage 7. 2 yards. (4 rounds total) Draw and fire 4 rounds while backing up from the target in 3 seconds. That comes to 50 rounds. The A zone (center circle on the body and the home plate section of the head) is worth 5 points. The C zone (ring just outside the A zone on the body) is worth 4 points, the D zone (outside scoring area) is worth just one point. The B zone (area outside the home plate on the head) is worth 1 point when shooting at the head. On stages where you are shooting at the body the B zone is worth 4 points. All shots hitting below the neck line when shooting at the head count as misses. All overtime shots are -5. All extra shots are -5. Maximum score is 250. (what I got) Passing is 200 (80%) Expert is 240(95%) Pat

Nice job, it does help when you have a decent handgun but it damn sure wont do it by itself.

Popo, is that a taser foil target on the door in the rear of those pictures?
Or, did someone tell you that foil on the doors and windows and ceilings stop the govt radio waves from getting into your brain (long standing story up in nyc).

I can only dream of being able to qualify with a single action pistol.
