carry when on the road?

What do you carry when working the road? Going to start working on the side and given the choice as to what to carry, as long as 9mm or larger.

They'll Let Me Have A Bradley??!!

I don't want to loose a fight for not being able to shoot back, so I carry lots of ammo too.

Maybe if you buy it with your own money.

Glock 35, 4 mags on the belt, 6 more in the tac vest(for the G35), Glock 27 inside the uniform shirt on my vest ( no spare mags for it, can take the G35's), POF-USA AR-15 w EOtech 552, 3x magnifier 1 mag on the stock, 2 in a mag sinch, 6 in the tac vest, 8 in a spec ops dump puoch. I know I know a dunmp pouch is for putting empty mags in, but mags are cheap if I loose a few due to that un foreseen hollywood shoot out, then it is no big deal I have more mags than I can count. I carrry a TDI on my belt and one on my ankle. I have my partner to thank for that. He is a knife nut and I seen his TDI's. 4 sets of cuffs (sometimes ony 2 sets), a pile of flexy cuffs, PR-24, X26, 14" Rem 870 (wilsion combat). I drive a 4 door duramax 2006(not the long bed). Alot of our patrol is desert and mountain areas. Sorry didn't mean to be so long winded on this.

What kind of work will you be doing and will you be in the car for long periods during the day? If so, you may want to get a holster attached to the dash or console or consider wearing a crossdraw of some sort. Drawing from a standard holster can be a real bear when sitting in a car and it can also be uncomfortable after a while.

I use a crossdraw to carry my XD-40 Service and I carry two spare mags in a custom pouch that holds the mags lower so they don't push into my side.
