Something along the lines of "the arabic script is meaningless".

planes have wi-fi now. It would be quite easy actually.

Planes dont have wifi yet, this is planned to roll out late this year or early next year and has absolutly nothing to do with cellular coverage since the wireless will use a satellite uplink to get net access. Now as far as cellular phones go, it is against both FAA and FCC regulations to use a cellular device on an airplane once it is in the air, doing so can earn you a prison sentence.

I'm a roadwarrior 1.7 million air-miles over the last 7 years so I practically live in either the airport or the jet. It might seem funny to you at the moment to set that counter going, but I'm here to tell you the Airlines and security have ZERO tolerance and no sense of humor when it comes to pranks. The very least you'd be kick off the plane (they might even land first), but more than likely you'd end up in some small room looking at a very loooong anal probe.
On the lighter side "It' was pretty funny"

some one pulled that i wouldn't give them the opportunity to be a suicide bomber. they die at the hand of an infidel long before the counter reached zero.

I just flew to Indonesia. you pay a fee with your credit card and you get a password to get on. I was on the net on the plane with my PSP. It was a Korean airline i believe. However that was about 5 or 6 months ago. I just read boing pulled all their in flight wifi service though. So i guess the service is no longer being offered. It was awesome though to get online wirelessly at 30k feet.

Korean Air is to sue plane-maker Boeing over the failure of its in-flight broadband venture Connexion by Boeing.
According to The Korea Times, Korean Air is suing its former supplier for $12m after it had begun to kit out a number of its aircraft to be compatible with the now-defunct service.
The paper said the airline had spent $400,000 equipping 29 planes to be able to offer in-flight broadband connectivity. Korean Air had also reportedly been planning to roll out the service to another 25 aircraft by 2008.
Boeing announced the closure of Connexion earlier this month saying there was little demand for the service.
Other customers of the service, Japan Airlines and Lufthansa, said they are considering whether to continue offering broadband with an alternative supplier.

you know, i am looking at flying for the first time since 9/11 this summer.(i know, Im sheltered) and i admit i am paranoid that some jihadist will decide out of the thousands of planes mine would be a good one to crash into something. so if i saw this i would probably, A:$hit my pants then B: attempt to stuff you and your laptop in the toilet and flush you both midflight.

but i did laugh
