Thanks guys! I highly recommend looking into law enforcement if you feel it is for you. People have trouble letting go of what they have, and end up staying in a job that does not make them happy too long. At least that has been the experience of many I've known.
A great thing about being a cop is you can retire in 20 years. If you are 30 years old when you get sworn, you can still retire when you are 50 if you wish. The ages in my class varied from 21 to 59. There were plenty of people in between as well. The experiences varied as much as the ages, and it is amazing to see all the different types of people and personalities that make up the group known as law enforcement officers. The one commonality is integrity, and the desire to serve the community. My greatest advice is that if you know it is for you, then don't wait. You will only regret it later, and may never end up doing it.

FYI, Flagstaff PD is looking. If you are looking to re-locate, come on up and take a look around. Nun the less, good luck with the search!
God speed to you and all of the other officers out there.
