The test that I took wasn't a lie detector. It was a written test.
Did you feel loved when you were growing up?? Would you rather plant flowers or run a bulldozer?? etc.... Odd stuff. |

Gotta love those psych tests...They crack me up because I dont see how the questions they ask you have anything to do with you or the price of tea in China for gods sake.
Last one I took had questions such as: -I would like to be a florist (true or false) -My father is a good man (true or false) -(15 questions later) My father WAS a good man (true/false) -Somebody is trying to steal my ideas (true/false) At times I found myself looking around the room for a hidden camera thinking that I was on candid camera or something.

haha wtf...
see i would probably have not noticed minute word changes. those sneaky bastards. they're true/false multiple choice questions? im thinking the bulldozer vs flowers is something about violence. now if bulldozer was replaced by explosives or fire...haha. did a phone ring while you guys took your test? wouldnt be suprised if they did have a/v in there.

Man, back in the day, they didn't have these goofy tests - just an interview with a group of LEOs to see if you'd fit in and what they thought of you. After the interview, we all went out for a few beers.
Since I knew most of these guys (and had ridden with them at one time or another) from my time on the aux force, it was sort of a foregone conclusion that I was going to pass. That, plus the fact that I had already been through the acadamy for aux training (the full course was 12 weeks, aux guys got 10), so they sort of shortened the whole process down and I did a week of training and that was that..... 'Course I still had to go through the written (a pure PITA! ) and physical (not all that hard - I was still in shape from my service days) before I got to the interview, but once there, I knew it was all over but the shouting. Good luck on this one - hope evewrthing works out the way you want it to.....
