Would one of you LEO's tell me what, "booming" means on the street?
The PR used it like this, "They are booming and making a lot of money." Any ideas?  Edit: Then she asks, "you know what booming is right?" Then we had to go so I didn't ask.

I assume they are using it like "blowing up". It refers to a gangsta rapper shooting up the charts and getting rich and all blinged out.
 Don't quote me on that though..

i'd have to hear a little more context...but to me, regardless of the subject, booming = growing or good business. if "they" are selling crack, for example, you can assume that their business is up and coming in that respect...if it's with respect to prostitution, then they got a lot of hos workin'
