First post
Hey everyone, I just joined up yesterday and thought I might as well say hi. I've looked around the sight a few times and decided instead of lurking in the cyber shadows reading other folks thoughts and opinions I'd jump in and have some fun too. I have been a LEO for 18 years, starting in patrol, then to to Sgt and ended my tenure in a municiple dept as a Lt. Now I am the Chief Agent over a narcotics unit. Talk about a change of pace! Well, obviously I LOVE handguns, and seem to always have a trade in the works. I just got my first XD. It's the XD45 Tactical in black. I've never been a fan of the Glock, so I was skeptical about buying it. Thanks to the posts on this sight I took the plunge. I already carry a custom Springfield 1911, which is my pride and joy, so I'm familiar with Springfield quality. Some of my other side arms are, Sig 220, Colt Combat Commander, Colt Detective Spcl first series, Colt Mustang Plus 2. I have a few others I keep to trade with, but these are my favorites. Well, like I said in the beginning, I just wanted to say hi, and to all my brother and sister LEO's out there stay safe and when you leave home to start your shift each day say to yourself in an audible voice, "I'm coming home today". I've said farewell to 5 of the dearest friends I had in the past 4 years. Four of them to scum, and one that had just seen and experienced too much in his career. It may seem a little foolish to say this at first, but if you will, your mindset and attitude will be ready when it all hits the fan.
May BLESS and watch over us all, Agent 915 |

Welcome!
Aside from Mindset and Attitude, a lot of training helps too!
