Officer Wounded

Hi guys-
I'd just like to ask for your prayers for an officer from the dept I used to work at. He was wounded on Friday afternoon. Here's the basic rundown:
Quote:
From WoodTV.com
About 2 p.m. Friday, a call came in to Kentwood Police saying there was someone driving erratically.
Kentwood Police Officer James Morningstar responded to that call. Officer Morningstar had picked up the holiday shift despite the fact it was his 33rd birthday.
Officer Morningstar pulled over Norwood, 40, at the Immanuel Reformed Church at 1300 East Beltline in Grand Rapids.
The church sits about 250 yards off the road. Officer Morningstar was able to get Norwood's vehicle stopped at the top of the hill in the church parking lot after a chase.
As Officer Morningstar approached the car, Norwood shot him in the shoulder. Morningstar shot back several times.
Both men were taken to the hospital. Officer Morningstar was treated and released early Friday night. Norwood died from a gun shot wound to the head.

Thanks for your prayers!
