Az Rangers?

Anyone know anything about the Arizona Rangers?

Hit the guns and ammo site they may be able to get you back copies of the few articles post in their mag,

Seems they were founded just a little while after Texas got the rangers est. as a police force,, I think as I remember some where about the late 20's or early 30's,, they became the State Police/ Troopers. But I 'm a little fuzzy on the whole time peorid

Thanks leadbutt. I have access to a few Rangers that I know, although I don't see them very often. I'm asking because I'm considering trying to join. I know that they are an auxilliary civilian force, and that they just recently passed a bill that allows rangers to be full Law Enforcement Officers. I know that they ride along with the local PD, but I'd like to know if they ride with the Sheriff as well. I'll make some calls tomorrow, but I just wanted to know if anyone here knew anything.
