creating a "cool down apparatus" for us who wear v

hi , i am a Police officer in Tennessee and we have very humid and hot summers here. I am in the process of creating some type of device that i can attach to one of my dash-board vents to bring cold air from the A.C to my vest by a hose , like a vacumn -cleaner hose. Does anyone have any idea's? so far think i will duck tape some vacumn hose to a vent in my Crown-Vic and have it loose so i can stick some of it down inside my vest to cool me down . does anybody have any better ideas? thanks in advance! i ahve been doing this job for 9 years and i am tired of roasting in the summer.

That looks just LIKE vacuum hose and duct-tape.

Kind of a low-budget Matrix pod thing...

Every time I'd disconnect from it, I'd have to make some mechanical air-wooshing sound just for effect... "Life support... disengaged..."
