For me anyways. I'll be going throught the Hamilton Cty. Sheriff's Dept. (IN) hiring process. It takes place this spring during March and April for immediate openings. They even have the oral interview dates already scheduled. I heard of them only being scheduled after the testing phases are completed. I am also surprised that there, apparently, is not going to be a psychological exam. There will only be the written exam and physical agility exam and then straight to interviews. I was also impressed that the Dept. spelled out exactly how the physical events are to be performed. The last dept. i tried out for , i got DQ'd for 2, thats 2, situps that had improper form(hands not LOCKED behind head and elbows not touching knees). Anyways, i just wanted to share my good news with the XD LEO community and hope you guys wish me any luck. Any tips not already given to other LEO hopefuls are appreciated.

Congradulations.....Good Luck on your Phyisical tests.....and you can rest assured if you make through this proscess there will be one hell of a background done....

My department no longer uses the Psch tests either....they are not reliable...we do however a extensive background....
