Qualified number 1 with the XDM

Finished the firing range portion of the academy today, no one could pull the grouping I did, second place was a XD 45, my M is a .40. Then in a spare elimination squad against a squad, I had the opposing members shaking in their boots.

The glocks, baby eagle(older nice model), barettas, sigs, s&w's, ect ect, failed to run with me, I am not a pro shooter, just a avg joe getting ready for my future as a peace officer, and so my skill may have carried me so far, but the weapon of choice took it home.

I was against some country boys that I was sure would give me a harder time, but hope I made the XD lovers proud.

Congrats! I too qualified at my Acadamy the other day with a perfect score. But we aren't allowed to bring our own guns. We are given Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm to train and qualify with. Nice pistol but I don't like the grip and trigger. Good Luck with the rest of the Acadamy. I graduate June 26th.

Great man, how many did not qualify? We had 3 fails.

I am ahead of you by 18 days for graduation. Cannot wait to get on patrol, 8 years with the state of Texas as a correctional officer has been great but it is time to move on.
