DPS officers in Texas .... what do they carry ?

Do the DPS carry the Sig 229 ? If so in what caliber and model ?

Our Agency is going to the Sig, we just don't know what model.

Carry it in .357Sig. Which model, I don't know. Basically Sig traded DPS gun for gun.

I see these guys carrying Sig 226s in 357Sig. They used to carry Sig 220s in 45ACP.

The Texas Rangers almost all carry customized 1911s...at least the ones I have seen. The Ranger that lives near me carries a customized TLE Kimber with Mexican silver grips...a real beautiful piece. Don't believe that Chuck Norris crap tv program..none of them carry a Beretta or revolver in a crossdraw holster (where did they get their research?).
