Even in the Coast Guard we deal with incidences such as these. I can remember such a case where a gentleman had hung himself from the rigging of a shrimp boat. We had to meet the Sherrifs department and the coroner at the pier. One thing I try to do to get through these ordeals is to think about a good case we had, such as rescuing a family from an overturned vessel.

Tec, Thanks for the response, I sincerely appreciate it.
As the previous post (above me) asked.. How are ya holding up Hulk .. I see the thread title has been changed, and I'm glad to hear it.
My brother killed himself with a 22, just under the eye, it was very messy, not only the clean up of the blood, but also the clean up of all the "legal" matters. But especially with all the family matters. It was the icing on the cake that destroyed my "family" , meaning parents and sisters. Suicide affects many people for many years. If you have the urge or thought to do it, get professioanl help NOW. It's a choice, die and destroy your family and their life, or swallow your pride and get a script for some meds. The choice is clear.

Face reality folks, there are more people on anti-depressants then any other medication, per my doctor and my friend who is a doctor. Have I looked it up, no, but I would say it's pretty close to home.

On a humorus level, look at it this way : http://www.hs2000talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=32838

i kinda feel your pain Hulk. I have seen some self inflicted GSWs come htrough the ER and morgue where I was a security rep prior to taking my current LEO job. Also teh MVAs will get to you. One I distinctly remember, because it happened maybe only 3 months ago, a young woman was in her full-size chevy with her 2 young children (1 and 2 I believe) when she was t-boned by a dump truck that ran a red light. She was killed instantly and her husband was teh first responding officer to the scene. Having to witness her family in teh ER was painful. Thankfully the youngin's made it out ok. It hurt though to see that.
