You know what really pisses me off? Blacks who want equality, but then turn around and do racist sh!t like this. I'm not saying all blacks are like this, but if you want racism to go away, you're going to have to work at it as well.

We haven't had a promotional process for patrol officers in about ten years. Over half of our department is eligible to take the test for sergeant but it's been tied up with racial lawsuits. One of the lawsuits alleged that the promotional test was written in such a manner as to exclude African-Americans from understanding the grammar used in the exam.

There seems to be a long-simmering resentment building amoung middle/mid/lower class white folks in this country who ball their fists and get sick and tired of the way things are leaning in this country but don't want to get a racist or anti-semitic or anti-immigrant label slapped on them for standing up for what is right and fair. It is NOT ACCEPTABLE that a black mayor can completely ignore perfectly qualified candidates simply because they are white any more than it would be for a white mayor to diss a black candidate. It is also not acceptable for illegal immigrants to get anything but a one-way ticket back home when entering this country illegally, they are not entitled to a F'ing THING in this country, they have no legal recourse or rights of any kind.
This country has SERIOUSLY lost its way. Our "elected representatives" do not represent us at all but blunder on about some agenda that only they seem privy to and we are left to simply suck it up and shut up.
My Dad used to predict civil war for this country if things didn't turn around, I believe it more and more every day.

I live 35 minutes from east st.louis and this does not surprise me one bit. The corruption that comes out of there is unbelievable. I guess we will see how this one turns out. SOMEBODY GRAB THE BEER AND POPCORN!
they hired a cop that had a domestic assault warrant out on him..... after firing someone that had no criminal record because he was white.
I usually think these cases are frivolous, this might be the exception to the rule.
