Polygraph tomorrow.
Do I gotta ask does it suck or am I psyching myself out? I'm not to worried about it but it is the first time in seven years Sheriff Dept. is hiring. Any advice?

Polygraph tests measure emotional responses, not "lies". Any emotional response strong enough to elevate blood pressure, respiration rate, or sweating will register on the polygraph. So, psyching yourself out and worrying about it too much is a good way to get the polygraph to register false positives.
"Have you ever used illegal narcotics or abused prescription drugs?" "Oh my god, I haven't but what if it shows that I have?! Then I'm screwed for something I've never done! Damnit?! What's it showing?! Does it say I'm lying?!" And you've just registered a false positive on the polygraph. So, stay calm, answer honestly, and don't let them get a rise out of you or rattle you by repeating questions to make you think that you're registering a "lie" on it. Good luck!

lie about everything and worry about every answer. That way you will stay at the elevated level and nothing will change.
 I would say just stay relaxed as possible and take the test. You sure won't be the first to be nervous about taking a polygraph. So don't try to out-think it. Just take it. Good luck.

Well just got back from the polygraph. I was freakin out for no reason ,at least I passed anyway.
