It is very cool, but I try not to buy things that will make me cry if I lose/break them.
I'd be happy to add the theft charge, probably evading also.

But I agree with the others, better things to spend the $ on.

But at least you still have their DL and regs in possession when they take off so a warrant or BOLO can be issued. At least I do, I make a habit to tuck the DL in my belt until I give them everything else back. Then the DL is the last thing returned.

Yeah, in theory. Our AG's make it hard for anyone who isn't a detective to get a warrant. It's almost not worth the trouble.

This city is the worst.

Good idea perhaps, but we also use 8 1/2 X 11 paper for our citations. They auto populate from the DL and REG info and then print in the car. Also, I'm left handed which doesn't look like it would work too well for that either.

Okay first I will be honest and skipped about half of the comments... I can tell you that this ticket board is the Sh**. I have used it for 3 years now and the owner and designer is one of us. He is an awesome guy and works with you and wants your imput.. The board takes a couple different sized citations and the clip board on the back with the removable light is great. It also comes in left or right and he is always looking to improve...

Saunders Mfg Co

It is very durable.. have dropped it, hit suspects with it and drove off with it on the roof few scratches but thats about it... makes night ticket writing great.. and for those areas that use the full sheet of paper take a look at just the lighted clip board... they are great for tow sheets, domestic violence forms, security checks etc... just my .02
