We actually didnt get into any of the turkeys until this morning aroun 10 or so, but we could never get those damn Tom's to come to us

I think you have until May 10th.

It was a great hunt, we followed a gobbler for about a mile, it just kept going away from us, then we finally said to hell with it and then decided to hit the call and there were 2 gobblers about 20' behind us that snuck up on us. They ran off and we hung around for about another hour and some others came in finally and I shot this one at 10 yards. The beard is about 9" long or so, really nice.

Thanks everyone for the tips on how to fry it, I will definitely try it out. It is big enough that I can quarter it and cook it several different ways.

I have no advice on how to cook it, but I can give all kinds of advice on how to eat it.
