Oh yea I forgot to say why it took so long.........I could not post anything I kept getting timed out. All of the checks will be deposited tomorrow all at the same time.....it was easier to do it this way since some users bought tickets several different times this way I could make sure everyone had all of their tickets.
Here are the stats, about 75% of those that entered the raffle won a prize, not too bad. The bad news is that we only had about half the turnout of last year. Not listing pay pal as an option to buy tickets really hurt. But pay-pal if its out in the open will shut accounts down vary quickly. Now to let every one know Springfield Armory was not a sponsor of this years raffle like they were last year. Last year we were able to get a pistol at half price and it made a nice prize. I personally faxed a request to SA with all the necessary return contact info and then some. I called several days later and was told by the secretary the manager received and read the faxed participation request, nothing ever came back. This left us with no pistol. Well when you combine the low turn out, even at dealer price a new pistol would have used up too much of the donated monies, and my donation money was better spent giving out more prizes to more individuals. Please remember the sponsors and I would appreciate if every one could send a thank you e-mail or phone call to the sponsors and let them know you will support them because they support us. [b]For the winners you will not have to do anything, I have everyones contact information and the sponsers like OldSchool will be forwarded the information and they will get your prizes out asap. All of the checks and money orders were deposited at the same time after the Drawing in case any one wanted to pull out. Everything is currently clearing the bank or Processing company which depends on the credit/debit card used can take up to 3weeks. I appologize about this but the CC company has to cover them their rear just n case a card charged was fradulent or a charge back. Thanks James. Now i can take my newly refinished Tripp firearm and take the Frontsite advanced handgun course since i obviously don't know how to shoot a gun.
