While your at it check out the great work that GeorgiaCarry.org is doing to preserve and expand the 2nd ammendment rights of citizens in the great state of Georgia that own firearms.

Thanks for the response, and the great product. I thought thats how its suppose to be. It is still the best thing an individual can do for their XD trigger.

I agree, mods make this a sticky!

Honestly, if not for this post, i would not have bought this mod thinking its too hard for me to install. After seeing the pics, I decided to give it a shot. It turned out to be pretty easy! Thanks OP.

+1. I never would have tried it without those great pics. And I had been wanting some kind of trigger job for a while.

It is now, thanks to the mods and to all who have posted useful information. "Even" when somebody made a mistake and had to get a new part to adjust (and had the ***** to admit it), there's value to somebody else preparing to do the project themselves.

Wow! They even fixed my spelling in the thread title! Thanks!

I wonder how that affects the links to this thread. Hmmm....

You did a great job with your tutorial proprellerhead and I just had to request and insist that the mods here make it a sticky. I am so happy with my new trigger created with the parts from Powder River I wanted everyone else that buys these pieces to have the same results that I did.

Check out this thread at my other favorite forum, XD Trigger Kits to find out the success some of us here in Georgia are having with the Powder River parts.

While your at it check out GeorgiaCarry.org Georgia's no compromise voice for gun owners dedicated to preservation and expansion of Georgia citizens' firearms rights.

Once again I want to give you a great big personal THANK YOU for the great tutorial on how to install some great parts from Daniel and Michelle at Powder River Precision

Talking Awesome!!!!

Man...I can't tell you how good the gun shoots. Monday I called Michelle and ordered the parts. Friday they arrived. Friday evening they were installed and I tested a few rounds...what a difference! Today I got to the range and sent 150 rounds down range. I felt more comfortable with the piece than anytime since I got it. Better control, more feel; I actually felt myself hitting the short reset and making another controlled squeeze. Lastly, I could not believe how much more control I had when jamming on rapid fire.

Thanks Daniel and Michelle, and thanks Propellerhead for the tutorial that made me want to do this mod.

Once again, I urge you to contact PRP before you do any modifications to the safety lever kit.

Just an update: I had this problem as well and spoke to Daniel. After doing some filing on the part that Bill showed in his picture, I was still having the same problem = no reset. Okay I finally figured out what the REAL problem was. I had installed a Canyon Creek spring set and the new sear spring was too light. I switched back to the stock/heavier sear spring and it resets perfectly now. Just wanted to FYI you guys.
