Propellerhead,
Thanks for taking your time to do this post. It looks like a lot of people have found it to be helpful and I'm sure that many more will in the future. Thanks again, Daniel

I just ordered both items over the phone with Michelle. Wow, super nice people. Can't wait to get the parts and install them. Thanks Propellerhead for all your info.

Just installed the PRP Match kit, and wanted to say THANK YOU to Propellerhead, this tutorial was a big help. Great quality product from Daniel at Powder River, just as everyone had said: BIG thanks to him as well for designing such an awesome product.
My learnings: 1) It will take about 1 hour to install if you are as picky as me. 15mins is installing springs and the striker safety. 45mins is fitting the overtravel stop. BUT IT IS WELL WORTH IT. 2) The overtravel stop is actually made out of softer plastic (relative to the polymer frame) and will file easily - BE CAREFUL not to file too much, but THANK GOODNESS for the ability to make very fine adjustments. You can really craft this thing down to right where you want it - all I used was 1 steel file and then coarse emery cloth. 3) I found it easier to reassemble by putting the locking block, overtravel stop, and trigger/trigger bar in at the same time. My locking block has loosened up though from disassembly, so this may not be best for someone with a tight block. MY RESULTS: This is an amazing kit for the price. For ~$60 you get a serious trigger. I was amazed after installing the striker safety alone how much better the trigger was. My overall pull length is now roughly 1/4" from start to finish. The weight of the trigger is noticeably reduced (though I don't have a scale for exact measurement). I will add more once I get a chance to roll it out onto the range again. There is very minimal pre-travel, and since I was pretty meticulous about fitting the overtravel stop, there is almost NO overtravel. Kudos once again. Can't wait to test it!

Propellerhead-
Does the takedown lever come out the same way on the SC? It doesn't feel like mine goes to the 2:00 position. Also- Does anyone know the difference between the PRP Safety lever for the SC and the regular one? I worked for 25 minutes trying to get the PRP Lever in and couldn't, but got the stock one in easily. That makes me wonder if I possibly got the wrong one sent to me by accident. Either that or I'm just a dummy

I don't think there's a different one for the Service and Subcompact 9/40. They are the same frame. Still, check with PRP on that. Try holding the safety lever with needle nose pliers, then install it. It has to go down almost into the magazine well, then back towards the grip safety. It should feel like it hooks in, then rotate the front end up. See where I have it in the pic below? It actually has to go almost an inch lower into the frame.
