It should not take that long to complete. In fact you can install the safety lever without even dropping the sear out of the gun. Just make sure that you have pushed the sear pin in far enough to drop the safety lever out but not the sear, from there you just replace the safety lever and move on. I imagine that the majority of your time will be spent fitting the over-travel stop to your liking.

Great job. I can see that even if you get the match set with springs, it you still don't have to drop the sear...not that that is a big deal, anyways.

So, what's this thing made of? It's hard to tell if it's steel or polymer. At any rate, at $60 plus/minus plus a couple bucks shipping (honestly, that's all Daniel charges) it's a great semi-drop in trigger job that, assuming the overtravel doesn't change anything, shoots like a dream.

I ordered the safety lever and over travel stop today, it was under $50, including shipping. I was told it was going to ship tomorrow morning as well.

Propellerhead:
This instruction sequence for installing the Powder River Trigger Kit that you have put together has to be one of the best tutorials I've seen on this forum. You deserve alot of credit and accolades for the work you've done. I just ordered the kit along with the new stop and I am more confident then ever that I'll have no problems installing it because of your work. Thanks again.

I installed my SL and OTS in my 45 Tac tonight. I confess I did have to call Daniel and get some pointers with some slight SL filing that needed to be done but after that it was cake. Just figuring out how to get the OTS in there with the block and trigger the first time was the most time consuming part. After a few test fits I had it down and then 2 slight shavings with some sand paper it was done. Over travel is gone and pretravel is pretty much gone as well. Its just right and just how I thought it would be. Lighter springs would put it into race gun territory but I'm not ready for that right now. BTW Daniel could not have been nicer and was willing to walk me through the whole process step by step. About 10 min on the phone and I was on my way. So its a cool kit from a cool guy and you can't go wrong with this one.

About how many business days did it take to get your safety lever? I think mine was shipped today, and was hoping to get it by friday evening...

Talking Great stuff

For the money alone, this lever and ots would be hard to beat. I ordered both parts for a XD45 compact because I didn't want to do any drilling or permanent modifications to my pistol. I ordered them on two different occasions and both times shipping was extremely fast. Parts installed without any problems and work like a charm. I shot 50 rnds through my pistol before the parts and hated the trigger. After installing these parts yesterday, took it to the range and the difference is night and day. And I didn't lighten the pull at all. Anybody that wants a quality trigger without modification of your pistol for less than $50, this is it.
