just got the match trigger kit installed.. very, VERY happy with the mod. its actually pretty simple to install, just need a punch and good hand dexterity. It now has virtually no overtravel, very little take-up and trigger feels very light (with springs installed)

One question, where does the trigger supposed to reset on the tactical version? mine resets fairly close to where you start pulling. I was hoping the reset was closer to where it breaks. Am I doing something wrong?

Cool

I really wish someone would sticky this topic and keep it where new folks just installing the Powder River parts can go and find the information and techniques they need to have flawless instalations of their new trigger parts. I know two members over on the GeorgiaPacking.org forum that are close to being ready to install the new parts and this topic was about to slip off the bottom of the page.

Someone please Sticky it so it will stay on top.

If you aren't already a member, check out GeorgiaCarry.org and consider becoming a member of the best 2nd ammendment rights protection group in the south.

You should call PRP for that one.

A mod has to do it. I just want my typo in the thread title fixed.

It sounds like every thing is working as it should. The parts in the trigger have to move a certain amount to do their job. I have made the reset as short as I can with the striker safety lever and over travel stop. There are things that I can do in house to shorten the reset even more.

Hay Daniel, My parts are working just great. Are one of the mods here going to make this topic a sticky, I sure hope so.

I know you aren't in Georgia but I want to invite you to make a post over here, GeorgiaPacking.org-Forum-Firearms and introduce yourself to our members who have Springfield XDs, you may get a little business off a simple forum post.

While your at it check out the great work that GeorgiaCarry.org is doing to preserve and expand the 2nd ammendment rights of citizens in the great state of Georgia that own firearms.

MODS Please make this topic a sticky!! Please
