This is an exact quote of the PM that I sent regarding this issue.

"My over travel stop was an answer to customers request to come up with an affordable way to install an over travel stop with out modifying their pistols. It is a dramatic improvement over stock and I would not sell them if they did not do what they were designed to do. You will have some flexing of the frame and over travel stop if you pull the trigger fairly hard. This is usually much harder then the typical 3-6 lb trigger pull. Under normal use the part holds up and works well. I'm not quite sure what you would like me to do. Please let me know how I can be of service.
Regards,
~Daniel"

I have tried to measure the force that it takes to cause the frame to flex. My digital trigger pull gauge only registers up to 12 lbs and it takes much more force than that to make the frame flex. I can also cause the frame to flex if I pull the trigger with the same excessive force while not engaging the grip safety. You can abuse almost anything and find fault with it. I stand behind my products and they function as they were designed to.

Again sir, what would you have me do so that you can consider this matter resolved?

Daniel and Michele are #1 on customer service in my book.
They provided me excellent service in helping me get my PRSL installed in my XD45C.
I love it. A 200% improvement over the stock trigger.
The trigger is so sweet I had to get used to the pre-travel being gone at the range last week.

Conceyted I hope you get your issues worked out..

My son visited and dry fired my XD yesterday, he as a XD 45 also. He said "awesome". Later on, he asked "Hey Dad, can I see your XD again to try that new trigger again ?" You may have another order when his birthday comes up

I do a function check every time I disassemble and reassemble a firearm, even if I have not modified anything.

Daniel,

I received the second safety lever in the mail on Friday. After installing, doing a safety check, filing some on the surface and re-installing (a few times), this works perfectly. All safety functions operate correctly. I will take my XD to the range tomorrow for some test-fires. Thank you for standing behind your products. So far I'm very please.

The 'fix' I posted above worked flawlessly at the range yesterday- the issue of the trigger not resetting was solved.

Once again, I urge you to contact PRP before you do any modifications to the safety lever kit.

I've studied all of PropellerHeads pics and instructions and feel that I can do this upgrade to my XD-9-SC with no problems what so ever. So today I called Michelle and orderd the safety strike lever and the overtravel piece. Very quick and easy to do, especially with a sexy voice (sorry for flirting with your wife Daniel) on the other end of the phone.

Now a question. My gun always has seemed to have a lot of preTravel before you hit that spot just before it fires, after it fires the trigger is nearly all the way back in the trigger guard. The reset is halfway back between the spot and the starting point. Will the kit make the total distance shorter with the reset nearer the point where the gun fires? I measured everything today and marked it on a piece of masking tape so i could compare when I install the new parts.

Last question this time-- will I see improvement if I install an aftermarket guide rod such as a Don's guide rod and what does the new guide rod do?

What happens if you combine this with the Canyon Creek spring kit?
