What's that sound?

I noticed that my XD-45C makes a light metallic "clinking" sound when it has a full clip, but no round in the chamber, and you rock it forward and back. Sound's similar to the sound the barrel makes when u rock the gun forward and back when the slide is locked back.

Just curious as to what it is..

Yeah, sometimes my mags will rattle when full. I just beat them until everything settles and doesn't rattle any more.

My mags do the same things. I beat them to seal the back side of the bullets to the back of the mag. All feed just fine. I don't have any problems with them.

Ahh, I'll have to give that a try. Figured it would start to annoy me carrying it around all day.

After you load the mag, strike the magazine into the palm of your hand.

I do it on the base of the mag first to settle the rounds downward, then one or two firm taps on the back of the mag to settle the rounds rearward.
