Sent it back
I just sent my V-10 9mm back to SA due to the fact that it cracked between the ports on the slide (a common problem I hear). I'm wondering when I'll get it back. I also requested in writing that it be replaced with a non-ported model if possible. Is SA good on turnaround time? Will I get back a non-ported slide/barrel? I'm the original owner and I sent it overnight.

I have sent my .40 tactical back a couple of times for refinishing and for the carry package and the turn around time averages about two to three weeks.

Why not just get the ported barrel from Bar-sto? Wouldn't it do the same thing? Or are you wanting the slightly lighter slide? True you would have about a inch of barrel sticking outta your gun.
