What ammo to use in my XD's
I have a XD 9mm, 40 S&W Sub. and a .357 sig. Are there any ammo's that are the best to use without doing any damage to the weapons?
These are for self defense  |

Pick any of the major brands (Winchester, Federal, Speer...etc). All of them have adequate self defense rounds nowadays, it just comes down to which ones function best in your pistols.

My XD9 shoots Winchester Silver tip JHPs just fine.

When I carry my XD9tac, it has Federal 124gr +p HST. My 40 would have Speer 165gr Gold dots. If I had a 357 SIG I would carry the Federal 125gr HST or the Speer 125 Gold dot.

+1 on the Federal HST 124g +p for 9mm.
