Hey guys, I have an XD 9 and I was wondering if any of you have a taclight/laser on yours? I'm looking at the Streamlight TLR2 which appears to be the best bet for the money. Anyone have one or heard anythin good/bad? Appreciate it.

The TRL2 is a great buy. I have taken one apart and it is a quality product. The mount is unique in that the shooter is not required to place the hand in front of the muzzle to put the light on....it clips on from the side. I would recommend it.

I put the TLR2 on my XD45 and put a second one on the rail of one of my POF's. I hope surefire get the X200BL out soon. I seen a few pics and little review in the surfire tactics mag that came out a few months ago. I also have the glock laser/light combo and that was a good buy too. I just feal bad puting it on a XD so I put it on my 24/7 45acp.

I also have the TLR-2 on my XD-9.....it's a great combo. Very easy to attach/detach quickly and turn on/off. It adds a little weight too....which cuts down on the muzzle flip a small amount. Check out Botach tactical for the cheapest price and maybe some freebies. When I bought mine several months ago it was $199.99. Also came with 20 free Energizer replacement batteries.
