Here's my Sally Hansen custom job (see my post on pg 29 for details):

I love the top slide- I will redo in Gold when I get the appropriate color nail polish. In my opinion, this must be the easiest most permanent way to acomplish coloring in your engravings.

How do I put pics up? I did this with crayon to see what colors I liked, and ended up doing it three times, I now want to do it with the Nail polish.

Eh never mind, go to the bottom of this page, and there are my pics.

Another method for coloring

I apologize if this has been mentioned alread, I didn't see it, and I searched for it.

I have done a lot of engraving work. Knives, glass, chrome, gunmetal, gunstocks, etc. There is a product out there made for coloring engraved lines. It's called Rub & Buff. You can get it in lots of different colors. I have used it on guns when doing scroll work and citori type patterns and have never seen it come off from the heat of shooting. In fact, I believe when it dries completely, it makes a sort of ceramic type of finish. It's very simple to apply. You just out some on your finger or an applicator (it's a paste), and rub it in. Let it dry for about a minute, kind of like car wax, then wipe it off. Hence, rub and buff. You can pick it up at a lot of your finer hobby stores like Michaels.

Anyway, it's made for this type of application.
