I was able to color my engravings in with Silver Testors Model Paint. It states that it is acrylic enamel. It took some time to clean up the engravings but looks pretty nice. I just used Gun Scrubber and it cleaned the paint off great, after it was dry and cleaned up a wipe with a silicon clothe and it looks good.

Sorry No Pics, traveling.

well I gave my slide another acetone bath.... and am now doing the polish / old cc scrape / wipe and dry method, got 2 coats on it, but since I am flying to kommifornia for a week and a half its going to have to wait for more coats till i get back....

looking good so far, and since my slide has been completely soaked in 100 percent acetone 3 times now with no effects I am sure its safe on any melonite gun

Finished my recent XD45 Compact in silver laquer. I'm going to do a clear coat job with an airbrush to make sure it stays put

I took my G32 that had a Cobra Chrome finish on the slide. I used a black lacquer stick on it and it looks great, you'll love the EMP with black inlay!
