Does anyone know when they will be shipping out the 10 round mag for the 45 ACP compact? I have finally found the 13 round clip but I just got my carry permit and am looking for the smaller 10 rd clip?

Didn't it come with one? Or are you talking about more.

So far the word is the only source is Springfield themselves.

I am talking about more. I really want to get about 3 10 rd. I want to be able to relax some of my mags while I use the others. I hear it is not a good idea to keep them loaded for more then a few days at a time and I always want to have 2 mags loaded on me. May sound werid but if the crap hits the fan I think I would rather have that back up.

Leaving them loaded is fine, it's the repeated spring uses (i.e. shooting them alot) that wears them out. Contact Springfield for the 10 rounders untill the sponsors here get them.

ya dont worry bout leaving them loaded, I keep all my mags loaded (10 total) for months/years and shoot them alot and have had zero mag problems.

I ordered a 10 round yesterday. According to the dealer they were in the warehouse and available but I apparently was the first to request a 10. They had a box full of 13's. I like the feel of the 10 better when shooting.

I don't know where you are in NC, but we scored some at the GUN SHOW that was in Greensboro, when it was there.

But they were few and in short supply.

And some dealers here, like to say, no I cannot get them.

CLOWNS!! All they have to do is pick up the phone.

I had two at the show tell me they could not get them. That was incorrect.

I found some on the next aisle over.

I've been confused for quite a while. Hope we didn't cause too much consternation by misusing those terms.

It generally causes a significant amount of panty-knotting. Otherwise, it's harmless.
