I have one in my XD40SC and took it to the range for the first time today. Point of aim is practically dead on with point of impact. I was able to rapid fire 9 rounds into the A zone at 21 feet with little difficulty. In total I put 50 rounds downrange and everything worked as it should.
I do have a couple of complaints about the internal laser. #1 - The activation button is tiny and is built into the takedown lever. I don't see any way I'd be able to draw, activate the laser, get on targer, and fire while under stress. #2 - The laser deactivated itself a couple of times between shots. The recoil seems to have bounced the switch into the off position. I haven't fired nearly enough rounds with it installed to get an idea of how its going to hold up in the long run. Other than the fact that it cost almost as much as my gun, it makes a nice range toy. I'm really having trouble seeing how it would be useful on a carry weapon. Turning it on is just too awkward. |

A darn shame cause I was really hoping that the internal laser would be an option for a carry weapon. Would be nice to have one to help avoid having to actually shoot your gun in the dark and let people know you mean business.
