It is actually a very high tech polymer, I think the name of it is Crayola. Lol.
I used the red crayon. It was done over a year ago and as you can tell is starting to fade. I just lost my crayons and have been to lazy to steal some from my nephew. Just rub the crayon into the groove and wipe off the excess. You could try and warm the slide with a hair dryer too. Btw, what do you think of the trigger guard?
