Gettin mine in a few days !!!
Decided after much deliberation to get the XD-9 for my first handgun instead of a Glock 19C. Only $430 at the local shop here in Erie and I get a free Hogue grip too.
I'll let ya know what else I think once I hit the range on Tuesday ! |

Hello Badger!
Erie Pa. You say? I live in Bradford and we have a sister company on 12th street in Erie. Any good gun shops I'm missing? I'm in erie once or twice a month and usually dont have time to go looking for gun shops but if I knew a few and thier locations I'd have time to stop....any help would be great!

well I finalyl got it about a week ago and I am VERY VERY pleased
at 20 yds. I'm hitting X at 7.5 yds. its like shooting fish in a barrel at a full 35yds. well lets just say I didnt miss the sillouette at all....even though this guy may be missing his "special parts" LoL keep in mind this is onyl the 3rd Time shooting in my lifetime. I even got one of my firends to return his SA 1911 to get an XD My other friends 24/7 Tarus missed target ALOT....I align that to the 11.5 lb. trigger pull ( stupid Double action only ) anyhow thanks for having opinions on here and finally swaying me away from those darn Glocks |

New member and proud owner of the XD 9MM Service. Very happy with how it shoots from day one, but after lurking around reading this forum I got the urge to buy grips, mag extensions, mini-lights, Don's Guide Rod, etc.(most from Pistolgear), and now the gun seems married to my hand.
Now it just WANTS to shoot where I point. I also learned from y'all the best cleaning methods, ammo, holsters, etc. MAN - this is the best fun I've had in years, AND I'm the envy of all my long-time gun totin' buddies.
