We've finally got our own Wiki server! I'm looking for any volunteers who would like to start filling out and organizing the Wiki. I would love to do it but I have severe time restrictions on maintaining and updating it. So right now, the Wiki is pretty much wide open to anyone to edit and who would like to populate it out. Please note that if it is abused (e.g. hacked/graffiti), I will lock all pages down and only let a select few volunteers maintain it.

P.S. Please note I just added the DNS entry for the wiki today. If the above link doesn't work, try again in 30 minutes or so!

what exactly would this invovle? I'd be up for giving it a shot provided I don't have to know TONS to begin with. I'm not a computer idiot, but I'm not exactly a genius either. Let me know if you think I might be able to help.

im not real good with computers either but it seems like we have a lot of people on all the time...how hard would it be to have a live chat in addition to the forums?

The Wiki is great news. Thanks for getting it up Kermee. I may take a little bit to pick up steam, but I know that guys here know the XD well enough to make it a very valuable resource.

Try it and you will see it isn't bad at all. The whole point of the Wiki is to make web site content easy for anyone to create. You will see that many of the features of this forums software package was taken from early Wiki predecessors. So if you can post here you can do the Wiki. We use Wikis at work for creating a "wikipedia" of our own internal knowledge and if you have good software on the server it is a breeze to edit. I think you will be surprised at how well you will catch on. If you want to see what a wiki looks like visit http://www.wikipedia.com .

This is gonna be great for us newbies, I love Wikipedia but it will be great to have this more focused Wiki. Thanks for the hard work.

By the way I own/operate www.ahbl.org (The Abusive Hosts Blocking List). We specifically have a list for forum/wiki spammers. We source data from quite a few high traffic forums and wiki's, and it might be of use curtailing wiki abuse.

I started a page on The Never-ending Thread and TOTP. I don't know how to make it so that any one looking can get to it. Like if someone types in "The Never Ending Thread" or "Top of the Page" something like that I don't know how to link the term to the proper page. And these articles can use some improvement as they are short and to the point. Need more detail!!
