Ok, i tried adding some businesses that are related to the XD... The wiki we have does NOT include ANY templates and makes this a pain in the... Is there anyway we can put in the templates w/o going through each one manually?

Did you try reading the different FAQs on the site? There's a ton and there are probably a few regarding CSS formatting and/or templates.

I'd just be careful about the templates because they would change the layout and make it look inconsistant.

Consider using their built in functions and formatting.

I wanted to start getting some information in on this, but I haven't had the time. We should plan to start populating the main page on Saturday, so we could spend time reformatting; revising; and editing the page.

Never done a Wiki page but done many web sites, html, php, flash, java script what can I help with. What is there to do?

Basically, we need to put a lot of text in about the XD and XDtalk.

The formatting part can be done afterwards and in comparison it's easy, but the content will take time.

OK so what are the rules about the text used? Accuracy, verification, content sources etc..

The sorts of things that this wiki can do that the official wikipedia can't would be include XDTalk cultural references. Articles on who started the "Girls and Guns" thread, and various other memes that've cropped up throughout the forum.

I suggest we keep with the official wiki and just add things through there, it already contains so much information regarding firearms. It is nice to have but doesn't offer all the features the official does.
