I think I echo the sentiments of a lot of the regular membes at XDTalk.com when I say that the administrators, Old School, and everyone else associated with this site, continue to do an outstanding job. But there is more to it than just that...when I come to XDTalk, I always feel relaxed and know that when I post, folks will respond 9 times out 10, in a courteous, friendly, and helpful manner. Traditonally, there has been very little in the way of rancor, one-upmanship, "mine is bigger than yours," or personal attacks against individuals or divergent opinions. I attribute this in large part to the positive atmosphere that has been created by the folks who run, sponsor, and administer this site.

I also freqent another well-known site because I own and appreciate other guns as well (no names but I think you know which one I am referring to), where the same positive vibes do not always hold true.

It's a pleasure to be a member of XDTalk. I look forward to checking the latest news and info after a long day at work, and I just wanted to thank everyone who has made the site the great place it is.

It is nice to know that not only is the XD a great gun but there is an owner's site (free no less) that supports it in such a positive manner.

Moderating a forum is like herding cats. Although I appreciate the kindness, speaking for all of the MODS, it is the members that make this a great forum.

If we all do our part by taking the high road, the problems seem to be minor and go away quickly.

You know, I try to respond positively to every thread that I have an answer for. Sometimes I might get a little burnt out answering "What ammo should I get?" for the bazillionth time, but I still try to answer the question. Everyone else here does too. sure there are times we all see a topic and instantly think "Why didn't he just search?? What an idiot!" but we still help them out. That is what sets XDtalk apart from the rest of the "gun" sites.
