I couldn't find a good place to put this question so if this isn't a good place please move it.

But has anyone else noticed that the forum is getting slower when you post or just going from thread to thread? I don't think that it is my DSL because other web sites do just fine (I think). Or do I have some security or someother controls set wrong. The think that I was wondering if it was this F***ing internet 7 that I updated too and have had nothing but problems.

There are definately times when the forum is brought to its knees... and often times it just becomes completely unresponsive. It happens.

Oh yeah... I've noticed it as well on occasion and I'm on cable broadband connection. Might be a server load issue.

When I upgraded to IE7, my browsing slowed down significantly. I'm not sure if it was a problem with IE7 itself, or if it was just slowing down my system because it uses more resources than IE6. I have an old P3, 1.0 ghz, so it wouldn't take much to bog it down.

Anyways, I uninstalled IE7 and my browsing was lightning fast again!

In all probabilty its an issue with the localities that host your ISP's. I am on a lot during the day and have not noticed any slowdown that is site specific...but the last few days several sites that I am associated with have had complaints regarding slow downs...maybe Black Friday Pre shopping shoppers are slowing things down lol

Its more like IE sucks. Get Firefox, be fast, and virus free

its good to know that I'm not the only one and I haven't gone off the deep end. I have been thinking of switching away from IE to firefox or opera
